There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in LUB. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Trouville defeated Defensor in Montevideo 82-73. They outrebounded Defensor 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. Center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Trouville's coach Alvaro Tito used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for Defensor. Defensor will play next round against strong Nacional trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena of Nacional. Trouville will try to continue on its current victory against Aguada. It will be extra interesting game as Aguada is their local rival from Montevideo.
Nacional (0-1) recorded a loss in Montevideo. Hosts were defeated by Urunday Univ. (1-0) 88-81. American Quinnel Brown (198-83, college: Auburn) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Chaz Crawford chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) responded with 26 points. An interesting game was also tough home loss of Aguada in a game in Montevideo versus undefeated Malvin (#3) 81-72. Wendell McKines notched 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 26 points by Dwayne Davis did not help to save the game for Aguada. Malvin's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Urunday Univ..
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Olimpia (#3) and Bigua (#2). Bigua was smashed at home by 33 points 78-111 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The best player for the winners was Brandon Nazione who scored 22 points. Olimpia's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Goes.
