PAUL HARRISON

29-year old center Paul Harrison (203-C-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Trouville and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Defensor (#5, 0-1), Second Stage bottom-ranked team 82-73. It allowed Trouville to take over top position in the Uruguayan league. But it's just the very beginning of the Second Stage and Trouville won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Harrison turned to be Trouville's top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Fernando Martinez (170-G-79, agency: Pro Sports) of GOES. He is a guard in his 3rd season at Goes. In the last game Martinez recorded impressive 27 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Goes to another comfortable win 92-76 over Hebraica (1-1) being unquestionably team leader. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Martinez is one of the most experienced players at Goes and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Eric Dawson (206-F/C-84, agency: Interperformances) of Defensor (#5). Dawson scored 18 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Dawson's great performance Defensor lost 73-82 to Trouville (#1, 1-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Defensor can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful Second Stage losing so far all 1 games. Too bad for Dawson he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. The season just started for Dawson as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader. Dawson attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anthony Danridge (196-F-86) of Nacional - 26 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Wendell McKines (198-F-88) of Malvin - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Brandon Nazione (202-PF-94) of Olimpia - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Jaime Lloreda (204-C-80) of Hebraica - 17 points and 6 rebounds
8. Chaz Crawford (207-F/C-84) of Urunday Univ. - 14 points and 13 rebounds
9. Matthew Shaw (203-F/C-88) of Hebraica - 26 points and 11 rebounds
10. Rick Jackson (206-F-89) of Goes - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over.
