Aguada defeated Defensor to even the series at 1-1. Aguada made 25-of-28 charity shots (89.3 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Al Thornton (203-83, college: FSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Dwayne Davis (196-89, college: S.Mississippi, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. Power forward Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: Ky Wesleyan) added 28 points (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Defensor.
