Malvin topped Bigua to narrow the gap in the series. It was a good game for American guard Charles Hinkle (198-88, college: American) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Martin Osimani (194-81, college: Duquesne, agency: Pro Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. American forward Wendell McKines (198-88, college: N.Mexico St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized Brazilian center Hatila Passos (211-85, college: N.Mexico St.) added 4 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Malvin. Five Bigua and four Malvin players scored in double figures.

Aguada held off Defensor to open 2-1 advantage. 24 personal fouls committed by Defensor helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Nacional prevailed against Olimpia to secure 2-1 lead. The best player for the winners was forward Santiago Moglia (196-89) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 19 points. Five Nacional players scored in double figures. Nacional's coach Gonzalo Fernandez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ELIJAH MILLSAP Defending champion Malvin Montevideo (LUB) landed 31-year old American ex-international guard Elijah Millsap (198-98kg-87, college: UAB). He started the season at Breogan in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 11 games he averaged 7.0ppg and 1.9rpg this season. He could not help San Lorenzo (22-3) in their last game.
