Aguada tabs Diamond Richardson, ex Smithton

Atletico Aguada (Liga Femenina) inked 26-year old American guard Diamond Richardson (175-93, college: UAPB). The last time (18) she played at Smithton Saints in Australian NWBU.
She has played also professionally in El Salvador (Liga Municipal Monsenor Romero).
Among many awards Richardson was selected to Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura 2nd Team in 2017.
Richardson attended University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff until 2016 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
Her game is described as: Diamond is a high energy player who is versatile enough to play shooting guard, small forward and point guard. She played the point guard position for her team in El Salvador and Australia. Offensively she could score inside and outside, she has excellent range on her shot which extends beyond three-point range and is a remarkable mid-range shooter. She can also create her own shot off the dribble and is an aggressive all-around player who will drive hard to the basket. She is an excellent rebounder for her size especially on the offensive end where she crashes the boards hard and uses her athleticism and perseverance. Her size, athleticism and strength allows her to defend multiple positions. She can guard almost every position on the court. She very quick and plays the passing lanes very well. She is a player who will do the intangible things such as dive on the floor for loose balls, guard the others team best player etc. She plays with intensity and passion and never stops working.
