Efianayi comes back to Urunday

Urunday Universitario Montevideo (LUB) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) 198cm swingman Tanksley Efianayi (college: UCF) for season 2022-23. Efianayi joins another USA player Stephaun Branch who is already in the roster.
It is actually his comeback to Montevideo as he has played here before. He played this summer at Supersonicos in Venezuelan SPB league. In 22 games just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.5apg. Efianayi was also voted League Player of the Week (2 times). The last season he played at Urunday in Uruguayan LUB where in 13 games he was league's fifth best scorer with remarkable 20.5ppg and had 6.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.4spg.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. Efianayi has played previously professionally in Argentina (Obera), Bulgaria (Balkan), Chile (Puente Alto), Ukraine (Odessa) and North Macedonia (Gostivar).
Among many awards he won Mid-Florida Conference championship title in 2015. He was selected to Eurobasket.com Ukrainian Superleague All-Imports Team back in 2018.
Efianayi graduated from University of Central Florida in 2017 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
