There are only two more rounds left in the Second Stage in LUB. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Eighth-ranked Cordon (12-16) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Hebraica (16-11) in Montevideo on Thursday. Hebraica managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88. However their fans expected easier game. Hebraica made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Hebraica outrebounded Cordon 45-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Brian Garcia (182-1990) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American swingman Jordan Williams (196-1992, college: N.Texas) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Martin Trelles (187-1996) replied with 19 points for Cordon. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 16-11 record. Cordon at the other side keeps the eighth place with 16 games lost. Hebraica's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Penarol.

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Bigua (14-17) and Urupan (10-20), which took place in Urupan. Higher ranked Bigua lost to eleventh ranked Urupan in a road game 78-87 on Wednesday.
