Liga Ascenso 2024 - Quinterian McConico (ex Lusitania) agreed terms with O.Mundial

Quinterian McConico

Olivol Mundial Montevideo (Metropolitan) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American 203cm power forward Quinterian McConico (college: AAMU). McConico moved there from Lusitania in Portuguese Liga Betclic. In 11 games he recorded 8.3ppg and 4.4rpg last season. The last summer he played at Colon F.C. in Uruguayan Metropolitan where in 20 games he averaged impressive 16.0ppg and 8.4rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. McConico has played previously professionally in Georgia (RASHI Tbilisi), Holland (Den Helder), Luxembourg (Musel Pikes), Mexico (Mantarrayas) and Poland (Sokol).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
He graduated from Alabama A&M University in 2017 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. He played also for Wallace State Community College for one year.
