Sienra number one in Uruguay Liga Femenina for round 5

Argentinian Point guard Julieta Sienra (161-PG-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Yale Montevideo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (27 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat D.Sporting (#4, 2-3) 90-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Yale is placed at 2nd position in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. They are still close to the very top. Yale would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Sienra had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She turned to be Yale's top player in her first season with the team. Julieta Sienra has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.2ppg).

The second best player in last round's games was young Brazilian Maria Ferreira (192-C-1994) of Atletico Aguada. Ferreira had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Aguada was edged by slightly higher-ranked Malvin (4-1) 63-59. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Third on the list of top players last round was forward Sabrina Molina (180-PF-1998) of Juventud Las Piedras (#7). Molina showcased her all-around game by recording 14 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Juventud, leading her team to a 60-56 win against slightly lower-ranked Lagomar (#8, 3-1). Juventud started extremely well this Second Stage. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Molina turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Molina has a great season in Uruguay. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.9ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 12.7rpg (2nd best) and assists with 6.4apg (2nd best). She also has 5.9spg, 2.0bpg and a FGP of 53.8%.
