Tessadri number one in Uruguay LUB for round 1 (by Hoops Agents)

Center Martin Tessadri (200-C-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for Club Trouville Montevideo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Urunday (#11, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 80-72. Trouville is placed at 3rd position in Uruguayan LUB. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Trouville won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Tessadri turned to be Trouville's top player in his first season with the team. Martin Tessadri has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.0ppg. Tessadri is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 12.0rpg) and averages impressive 3.0spg and 80.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Cape Verdean Victor Andrade (202-PF-2000) of league's leader Atletico Cordon Montevideo. Andrade had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Cordon to another comfortable win outscoring Welcome (0-1) 95-75. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Andrade is a newcomer at Cordon, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#4). He also registered 12.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Canadian forward Anthony Peacock (206-PF-1999) of Urupan de Pando (#4). Peacock scored 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Urupan, leading his team to a 78-71 win against Penarol (#10, 0-1). Urupan has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Peacock also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Peacock as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

9. Luis Santos (203-C-1994) of Penarol - 11 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Octavio Medina (195-F-1996) of Urupan - 13 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
