Nacional - Defensor 90-82

It was a good game for American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals. Point guard Mateo Sarni (185-1998) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Nacional's coach Alvaro Ponce used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Dion Wright (201-1993, college: St.Bonaventure) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for Defensor. Four Defensor players scored in double figures.

Aguada - Malvin 93-80

Aguada players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import center Franklin Hassell (205-1988, college: ODU) helped adding 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Aguada's coach German Cortizas used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Anthony Hilliard (195-1986, college: ECSU) with 21 points and forward Nicolas Martinez (206-2003) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
