Remy Abell (ex E.Shomron) joins Malvin

Remy Abell

Malvin Montevideo (LUB) has agreed terms with 33-year-old American guard Remy Abell (193cm-93kg-1992, college: Xavier) for the new 2025-26 season. He was the top scorer at E.Shomron in the Israeli National League last season, where in 20 games he had very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 4.3rpg, and 3.2apg. Abell also played for NKA Universitas Pecs (A Division) in the Hungarian league.
Abell is a very experienced player. Abell's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Abell has played professionally in Bosnia (Spars), Cyprus (Keravnos), Finland (Vilpas and Seagulls), Hungary (Kaposvari and OSE Lions), Israel, Venezuela (Gaiteros) and The Basketball Tournament (Sideline Cancer and Zip Em Up).
Between 2023 and 2024, his team won the Cyprus Supercup. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com Hungarian League All-Imports Team in 2024.
Abell graduated from Xavier University in 2016 and it'll be his tenth season as a pro player. He played for Indiana University for 2 years.
