The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Urunday in Montevideo on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Aguada 118-105. Aguada made 26-of-27 free shots (96.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Urunday helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 4 assists. point guard Juan Santiso (185-1994) contributed with 20 points and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. point guard Mateo Sarni (185-1998) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 assists and 4 steals for Urunday. Gaston Semiglia (186-1991) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Hebraica's coach Leonardo Zylberstein rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. The game between Nacional and Penarol in Montevideo on Monday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Montevideo outscored Nacional 87-62. Santiago Vescovi notched 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds by Gianfranco Espindola did not help to save the game for Nacional. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
