26 year old American point guard Deshone Hicks (178-PG-1999, college: Ferrum) was the second best scorer of the day in the world with the 29 points he had in the Uruguayan league. Hicks graduated from Ferrum College three years ago. His team Bigua lost to the Penarol 76 to 98. Among many awards he was named as the Eurobasket All Finnish 1st Division A Import Player of the Year, was selected to the First Team and All Imports team back in 2024. He was selected to the All ODAC Second Team back in 2023.
