American power forward Greg Whittington (205-PF-1993, college: Georgetown) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 33 points he had in the Mexican league. Whittington graduated from Georgetown University in 2013. His excellent performance made his team the Halcones de Ciudad Obregon beat the Pioneros Los Mochis 96 to 87.
