Prince's double-double lands him (Second Stage) Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Ty Prince (198-F-1999) had an amazing evening in the last round for Union Atletica Montevideo (they play in Places 7-12) and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Cordon (#11, 5-23) with 24-point margin 95-71. U.Atletica maintains the 8th position in Uruguayan league. U.Atletica is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 14th lost game this season out of 28 games. In the team's last game Prince had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be U.Atletica's top player in his first season with the team. University of Mary Hardin-Baylor graduate has very impressive stats this year. Prince is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 7.5rpg) and averages solid 64.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Quatarrius Wilson (203-C/F-1996). He is American in his first season at U.Atletica. In the last game Wilson recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Prince he helped Union Atletica Montevideo with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Cordon (#11, 5-23) 95-71. U.Atletica's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 14-14 record is not bad and everything may still change. Wilson is a newcomer at U.Atletica and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#6). He also registered 8.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jhery Matos (196-SG-1996) of Atletico Bigua Montevideo (#7). Matos showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Bigua, leading his team to a 91-87 win against the lower-ranked Welcome (#12, 4-24). Bigua needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 12 lost games. Matos has a great season in Uruguay. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (8th best).
