Ignacio Xavier gets MVP of the Week award for Uruguayan LUB (Second Stage)

Ignacio Xavier (195-F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Hebraica Macabi Montevideo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8 (Second Stage).
The 26-year old forward had the game-high 29 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Hebraica as his team was edged out by Defensor (#6, 13-15) 84-80. Hebraica maintains the 5th position in Uruguayan LUB. Hebraica is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 13th lost game this season out of 28 games. In the team's last game Xavier had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Ignacio Xavier averages this season 9.0ppg.
