Hogan graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2020. His excellent performance made his team Penarol beat the Aguada 99 to 82. He also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists that evening. Among many awards he won the Argentinian TFB championship title in 2022. Hogan was selected to the Latinbasket AllUruguay League First Team as well as the AllImports Team back in 2021.
