Riachuelo de La Rioja welcomes back Marcano, ex Marinos

Riachuelo de La Rioja (La Liga) signed 23-year-old Venezuelan 205cm center Keiver Marcano for the upcoming season. This marks his return to La Rioja, where he has previously played. Marcano's most recent stint was with Marinos in the Venezuelan LSB league. However, in the three SPB games he played last season, he only averaged 1.3ppg and 2.0rpg. Prior to that, he played for Deportivo Viedma Rio Negro.
He played for the Venezuelan Under 19 National Team in 2022.
Marcano has played previously in Venezuela (Cocodrilos, Spartans, and Piratas) and Argentina (Amancay and Riachuelo de La Rioja U22 team). He won the Venezuelan League championship title in 2026.
Among many awards, he was voted to the Latinbasket.com Venezuelan SPB All-Rookie Team in 2025.
