JESUS CENTENO
Here is the weekly review of the top performing Venezuelan players, who play currently abroad.

Jesus Centeno
Jesus Centeno
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former U21 international guard Jesus Centeno (190-85, currently plays in Ecuador). He led Iccan to a victory over the closely-ranked Piratas (12-4) 83-72 in the Ecuadorian National League in Saturday night's game. Centeno was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and making 12 passes. Centeno also added 6 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Club Iccan de Macas (14-2) is placed first in the National League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Centeno's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 13.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 5.2apg, 2FGP: 56.0%(56-100) and FT: 72.3% in 16 games he played so far. Centeno played for the Venezuelan U21 national team fourteen years ago.

Cesar Silva
Cesar Silva
#2. Second place goes to former international swingman Cesar Silva (190-81, currently plays in Ecuador) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jesus Centeno. But that was another game of his team in Ecuadorian National League which we would like to mention. Silva was the main contributor in Iccan's victory against the closely-ranked Barcelona (10-5) 82-75 in a derby game. He was the best player in that game. Silva scored 27 points (!!!), had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Club Iccan de Macas (14-2) is placed first in the National League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Silva has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 17.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 4.3apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 56.8%(54-95), 3FGP: 35.4% and FT: 67.2%. Silva has a dual citizenship: Colombian and Venezuelan. Former Guaiqueries de Margarita starter played for the Venezuelan national team in 2013.

Emilio Cappare
