Guaiqueries add Romero to their roster

Guaiqueries de Margarita (LPB) added to their roster experienced 34-year old ex-international forward Jhon Romero (199-85). He played last summer at Panteras. He helped them to make it to the Venezuelan LPB Cup Semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan Serie A 2nd Team. Romero also played for Gladiadores (Serie A). Great season indeed as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan Serie A 2nd Team.
His team won Venezuelan LPB Eastern Conference Regular Season in 2018. Romero was a member of Venezuelan Senior National Team back in 2011.
He has played also professionally in Colombia (Piratas, Barrancabermeja Ciudad Futuro and Halcones), Venezuela (Marinos, Trotamundos, Llaneros, Graneros and Estudiantes) and Ecuador (Importadora, Iccan and Piratas).
On Romero: He's an up and coming talent at the 4 position who's size and height is more proper to play the 3, but he hasn't worked in a long distance shot or the transition from playing in the paint to doing so outside. Has been a member of big rosters and despites that, he's always found a way to contribute.
