Cangrejeros - Diablos 92-87 The game in Maturin was also quite interesting. Diablos (1-2) played at the court of Cangrejeros (2-1). Cangrejeros managed to secure a 5-point victory 92-87 on Wednesday. Cangrejeros made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Jesus Ramos (187-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Amos Acosta (180-96) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Angelo Cisneros (198-97) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Osman Alvarez (174-93) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Five Cangrejeros and four Diablos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cangrejeros will meet Llaneros (#7) in the next round. Diablos will play against Gladiadores and it may be a tough game between close rivals. It was a good game for the former international center Miguel Marriaga (205-84) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. International swingman Pedro Chourio (186-90, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Carlos Cedeno (193-85, college: Frank Phillips) who recorded 12 points and 5 assists and forward Kelvin Caraballo (198-88) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Supersonicos' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Spartans is looking forward to face Condores (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Supersonicos will play against Centauros (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
