Tulio Cobos will play for Bucaneros

Bucaneros de La Guaira (SLB) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 34-year old Venezuelan forward Tulio Cobos (197-86kg-86, college: Northeastern State) for the Superliga 2020 playoffs. It is actually his comeback to La Guaira as he has played here before. Cobos played in regular season for Llaneros. In 12 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.6spg. Cobos also played for Trotamundos (LPB).
He is a very experienced player. Cobos has played also professionally in Chile (Puente Alto), Uruguay (Bigua), Venezuela (Centauros de Apure, Guaiqueries, Toros, Gigantes and Atleticos) and Argentina (Ciclista and Argentino).
Among many awards he won Venezuelan LNB championship title in 2011 and 2016. Cobos received also Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan Serie A 1st Team award in 2019.
He attended Northeastern State until 2009 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
