Jorge Rondon joins Cangrejeros

Cangrejeros de Monagas (SLB) agreed terms with 30-year old ex-international swingman Jorge Rondon (193cm) for new 2021 season. He played last summer at Bucaneros. In three SLB games he had just 2.7ppg and 3.3rpg. Rondon also played for Llaneros that season where in 11 SLB games he recorded 4.5ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.6apg.
He was a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Rondon was called to Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2012 and 2015 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008.
He has played previously for seven other teams: Panteras, Marinos, Toros, Atleticos, Guacharos, Piratas and Atleticos.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the LNB Semifinals for four years in a row ( between 2014 and 2017). Rondon was also voted Latinbasket.com Venezuelan LNB All-Defensive Team back in 2011.
