Cocodrilos de Caracas (SLB) inked 30-year old former international swingman Cesar Garcia (193cm, agency: Pro Sports). It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. Garcia played last summer at Gigantes in Venezuelan SLB league. In 6 games he averaged 7.5ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.3apg. Garcia also played for Bucaneros that season where in 15 SLB games he had 13.1ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to make it to the final. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB Honorable Mention. The other team Garcia played shortly was Cocodrilos (LPB). It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB Honorable Mention.
He also represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Caracas (Venezuela) five years ago. Garcia's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 3.2ppg, 1.5rpg.
Garcia is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Chile (Liceo Mixto), Colombia (Titanes), Venezuela (Guaros, Tiburones, Saurios, Atleticos and Guacharos) and Ecuador (Barcelona).
Among many awards he won Colombian LPB championship title in 2019. Garcia received also Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LNB 1st Team award back in 2017.
