Diaz is back at Cocodrilos

Cocodrilos de Caracas (SLB) signed 31-year old forward Jovanni Diaz (203cm). It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. Diaz played last summer at Bucaneros in Venezuelan SLB league. In 15 games he had 6.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg. Diaz also played for Cocodrilos (LPB).
He is quite experienced player. Diaz has played also professionally in Chile (Universidad Catolica and Puente Alto), Colombia (Piratas), Peru (Regatas), Venezuela (Atleticos, Guacharos, Cangrejeros and Metropolitanos), Ecuador (Juvenil) and El Salvador (Isidro Metapan).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura in 2019. Diaz was also voted Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Clausura Honorable Mention in 2019.
