Jhon Romero joins Diablos

Diablos de Miranda (SLB) added to their roster experienced 35-year old ex-international forward Jhon Romero (199cm) for new 2021 season. He played last summer at Gladiadores. In 10 SLB games he had 10.2ppg, 6.2rpg and 2.5apg. Romero helped them to make it to the semifinals. He also played for Guaiqueries that season where in four SLB games he recorded 3.5ppg and 4.3rpg. The other team Romero played shortly was Gladiadores (LPB). In four games he averaged 3.5ppg and 4.3rpg. Romero was a member of Venezuelan Senior National Team back in 2011.
He has played also professionally in Colombia (Piratas, Barrancabermeja Ciudad Futuro and Halcones), Venezuela (Panteras, Marinos, Trotamundos, Gaiteros and Graneros) and Ecuador (Importadora, Iccan and Piratas).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan Serie A 2nd Team in 2019.

On Romero: He's an up and coming talent at the 4 position who's size and height is more proper to play the 3, but he hasn't worked in a long distance shot or the transition from playing in the paint to doing so outside. Has been a member of big rosters and despites that, he's always found a way to contribute.
