Pastora de Lara (LINABAFE) added to their roster center Dayenlys Veliz (179cm-0). She just played at Cangrejas in Venezuelan LINABAFE. Veliz missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
She represented Venezuela at the South American Championships U17 for Women in Sucre (Bolivia) four years ago. Veliz's team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 5 games: 4.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.0spg.
Veliz has played previously for Guacharas.
Veliz won Venezuelan LINABAFE championship title in 2017.
