Tulio Cobos agreed terms with Diablos

Diablos de Miranda (SLB) inked experienced 34-year old Venezuelan forward Tulio Cobos (197cm-86kg-86, college: Northeastern State) for upcoming season. He played last summer at Bucaneros. In three SLB games in Venezuela he recorded very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.0spg. Cobos also played for Llaneros that season where in 12 SLB games he averaged remarkable 16.3ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.6spg. Great season indeed as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB 2nd Team. The other team he played shortly was Trotamundos (LPB). A very good season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB 2nd Team.
Cobos is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Chile (Puente Alto), Uruguay (Bigua), Venezuela (Centauros de Apure, Guaiqueries, Toros, Gigantes and Atleticos) and Argentina (Ciclista and Argentino).
Among many awards Cobos won Venezuelan LNB championship title in 2011 and 2016. He received also Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LPB Most Improved Player of the Year award back in 2013.
Cobos attended Northeastern State until 2009 and it will be his 13th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
