Cazorla number one in Venezuela for round 2 (by Hoops Agents)- April 8, 2021
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (20 points, three rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Centauros (#6, 1-2) 79-74. Indios is placed at 3rd position in Venezuelan SLB. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Indios won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Cazorla had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Indios and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. Harold Cazorla has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.0ppg), assists (4th best: 6.0apg) and averages impressive 6.0spg and 90.0% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was 34-year old international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-PG-86) of league's leader Guaiqueries. Guillent had a very good evening with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Guaiqueries to another comfortable win 91-72 over Trotamundos (2-1) being unquestionably team leader. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Guillent is one of the most experienced players at Guaiqueries and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Anyelo Cisneros (198-F-97) of Diablos (#4). Cisneros scored 20 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). Despite Cisneros' great performance Diablos lost 95-99 to #1 ranked Broncos. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Diablos needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in Group A. Their record is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Cisneros has a very solid season. In 3 games in Venezuela he scored 16.3ppg. Other top performing players last week: 4. Alexander Morillo (180-G-92) of Broncos - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists 5. Jose Sulbaran (190-G-99) of Centauros - 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists 6. Eduardo Torres (194-F-81) of Bucaneros - 14 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists 7. Gregory Vargas (182-PG-86) of Cocodrilos - 15 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists 8. Eduardo Diaz (205-PF-93) of Bucaneros - 15 points and 11 rebounds 9. Tulio Cobos (197-F-86) of Diablos - 26 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists 10. Jose Sojo (180-PG-96) of Spartans - 16 points and 4 rebounds The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
