Guaiqueries welcome Cazorla via draft

Guaiqueries de Margarita (SLB) drafted 29-year old former international 175cm point guard Harold Cazorla, agency: Promo Sport ID. It is actually his comeback to Porlamar as he has played here before. Cazorla moved there from Indios (SLB) where he started the season. In 19 games he averaged 13.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.7apg and 3.3spg. Good season as he was selected League Player of the Week. The last season Cazorla played at Bezana in Spanish EBA. In 10 SLB games he had very impressive stats: 20.6ppg, 4.2rpg, 5.7apg and 5.9spg. He was also selected League Player of the Week.
Cazorla represented Venezuela at the South American Championships in Caracas (Venezuela) five years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 4 games: 3.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.5apg.
Cazorla has played also professionally in Colombia (Llaneros), Venezuela (Guaros de Lara 2nd team, Gigantes, Rojos and Acereros) and Spain (Avila and Estela).
Among many awards Cazorla's team was regular season runner-up in Venezuelan LPB Eastern Conference in 2018. He was also selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Defensive Player of the Year back in 2018.
