Trotamundos are SLB champions. They beat Guaiqueries in the fourth game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Naturalized American Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Four Trotamundos players scored in double figures. The former international forward Michael Carrera (196-93, college: S.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-86) added 7 points and 5 assists in the effort for Guaiqueries. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
