Diablos de Miranda (SLB) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 34-year old naturalized Dominican power forward Jhoyfer Diaz (200cm) for the upcoming SLB 2021 Cup. Diaz played last summer at Indios and this franchise is now merging with Diablos. In 20 SLB games he recorded 10.3ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.3apg.
He is quite an experienced player. Diaz has played also professionally in Argentina (Sportivo America de Rosario), Dominican Republic (Plaza, Parque Hostos, Reales and Bameso), Venezuela (Cocodrilos, Trotamundos, Estudiantes, Bucaneros and Araguenos) and El Salvador (Santa Ana and Halcones).
His team made it to the El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura Semifinals in 2015.
