Guadalupe Diaz agreed terms with Yaracuyanas

Yaracuyanas BBC (LINABAFE) inked 21-year old international 163cm point guard Guadalupe Diaz. The last time (21) she played at Pastoras de Lara in Venezuelan LINABAFE. Diaz missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Diaz played for Venezuelan senior team this year and previously for U18 National Team back in 2016.
She represented Venezuela at the South American Championships U17 in Asuncion (Paraguay) six years ago. Diaz's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 5 games: 5.6ppg, 1.8rpg, Assists-2 (2.2apg), 1.2spg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 14.3%, FT: 44.4%.
Diaz has played previously professionally also in Mexico (Mexcaltecas).
Among many awards her team made it to the LINABAFE Semifinals in 2016. She was voted to Latinbasket.com All-FIBA Americas U18 2nd Team back in 2016.
