Jhoyfer Diaz is back at Diablos

Diablos de Miranda (SPB) signed experienced 35-year old Dominican-Venezuelan power forward Jhoyfer Diaz (200cm-1987). It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. The last time (2021) he played at Parque Hostos in La Vega League in Dominican Republic.
He is quite experienced player. Diaz has played also professionally in Argentina (Sportivo America de Rosario), Venezuela (Cocodrilos, Trotamundos, Estudiantes, Bucaneros and Araguenos), Dominican Republic (Plaza, Reales and Bameso) and El Salvador (Santa Ana and Halcones).
He could be described: A very promising player, who is very good back-to-the basket, because he started playing at center. Now, he plays at the PF position, and needs to improve his perimetral game, because the future is at 3. Diaz is very coachable, however, and is enough quick and smart to learn soon. Has also leadership, and can defend well.
