Sojo number one in Venezuela SPB for round 3- July 14, 2022
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Piratas (1-1) with 18-point margin 70-52. Broncos maintains the 2nd position in their group in Venezuelan SPB. Broncos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Sojo had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Broncos, through which he has constantly improved. Garly Sojo averages just after two games 16.0ppg and 8.5rpg. The second best player in last round's games was young American Kwame Alexander (201-F/C-1990, agency: BIG) of league's second-best Taurinos. Alexander had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Taurinos lost that game 75-85 to Gigantes (1-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Alexander is one of the most experienced players at Taurinos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#6). He also registered 9.0 boards per game. Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Tulio Cobos (197-F-1986) of Supersonicos (#5). Cobos got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . Despite Cobos' great performance Supersonicos lost 71-73 to Guaiqueries (#2, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Supersonicos can only dream about fighting for top spots in East-A. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Cobos has individually a great season in Venezuela. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (3rd best). Other top performing players last week: 4. Ater Majok (210-C-1987) of Piratas - 16 points and 16 rebounds 5. Harold Cazorla (175-PG-1991) of Gigantes - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
