Laury Garcia (ex Circolo) joins Taurinas

Taurinas de Girardot (SLB) agreed terms with 25-year old Venezuelan ex-international small forward Laury Garcia (174cm-1997). Garcia played this summer at Circolo in Peruvian Liga de Lima. She has played there for the last three years. Garcia helped them to make it to the semifinals.
She was also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Garcia played for Venezuelan Senior National Team back in 2015 and previously for U16 National Team in 2013.
She represented Venezuela at the South American Championship U17 in Porto Viejo (Ecuador) nine years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 5.2ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 27.3%, 3PT: 8.3%, FT: 73.3%.
Garcia has played previously professionally also in Venezuela (Anzoategui, Seleccion Nacional U15 and Estudiantes) and Peru (Rosario and Ayacucho).
