Cynthia Polanco agreed terms with Capitalinas

SLB newcomer Capitalinas de Distrito Capital strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old international 180cm forward Cynthia Polanco. The last time (2021) she played at Patriotas in Venezuelan SLB league.
She also represented Venezuela at the FIBA Americas in Edmonton (Canada) seven years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 0.4ppg.
Polanco has spent her entire career in Venezuela playing for five other teams: Guerreras, Anzoategui, Llaneras, Bucaneras and Guaras. She played in the final of Venezuelan LINABAFE in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
Among many awards she was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LINABAFE Forward of the Year in 2021.
