Heroes-De-Falcons (SPB) landed 30-year old Nigerian-American ex-international 194cm guard Zaid Hearst (college: Quinnipiac) for new season.

He played recently at Chalons-Reims in French ProB. But in three Betclic ELITE ProA games he averaged just 0.7ppg and 1.3apg last season. He was a member of Nigerian Senior National Team in 2020.

Hearst is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Hungary (Alba), Italy (Rieti Kienergia), Lithuania (Nevezis), Spain (Alicante, Oviedo, Coruna and Araberri), Ukraine (Mykolaiv) and The Basketball Tournament (Once A Bronco).

Among many awards he played in the final of Hungarian U20 League in 2021. Hearst was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention back in 2020.

He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2015 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
