Brillantes-de-Zulia (SPB) signed American guard Tristan Jarrett (193cm-93kg, college: Jackson State) for upcoming 2023 season. Jarrett played last summer at Piratas in Colombian Liga Wplay. In 20 games he had very impressive stats: 23.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.3apg and 2.4spg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. 2022-22 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com Colombian LPB Clausura All-Imports Team. Jarrett also spent pre-season at Jackson TN UnderDawgs in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
Two years ago he was drafted by Raptors 905 Missisauga (G-League) in third round (7th overall).
The former Jackson State standout is in his third season in pro basketball.
He was also voted All-SWAC Player of the Year in 2021.
