SPB 2023 - Marinos welcome back Emilio Cappare

Marinos-de-Anzoategui (SPB) landed 32-year old Venezuelan 199cm swingman Emilio Cappare for new season. It is actually his comeback to Puerto La Cruz as he has played here before. Cappare played last summer at Punto Rojo in Ecuadorian National League. In three Liga Sudamericana games he averaged 9.0ppg and 5.3rpg. He also played for Santa Maria (National League) in Ecuador where in 15 games he had very impressive stats: 20.2ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg. Cappare helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week and selected to Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian National League Second Team. The other team he played shortly was Diablos.
He was a member of Venezuelan U18 National Team in 2008.
Cappare has played also professionally in Venezuela (Toros, Gaiteros, Yaracuyanos, Universitarios de Carpito and Cangrejeros), Ecuador (Manabi) and Bolivia (CAN Potosi).
He won Bolivian Liga Superior championship title in 2019.
