SPB 2023 - Broncos land Tyreke Evans, ex Mayaguez

Broncos BBC de Caracas (SPB) tabbed 33-year old American 198cm point guard Tyreke Evans (college: Memphis). Evans moved there from Indios de Mayaguez in Puerto Rican BSN league where he started the season, but left the team in April. In 12 BSN games just recently he averaged impressive 17.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.3apg and 1.0spg.
In 2009 Sacramento Kings voted him as fourth overall pick in NBA draft. The former University of Memphis star is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He has played also professionally in USA, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (Wisconsin Evansrd).

An extremely smooth and talented guard. He has an incredible wingspan, with a very strong and mature body. Has proven that he is able to play as a lead guard, but his natural position seems to be as an SG. Loves playing at a fast pace, where he doesnt have to worry about play calls but can rather create on the fly. Puts constant pressure on the opposing team with his aggressive style.
A bit of a tweener at this point, does not have the blazing speed or quickness to play as a PG full time, and lacks the vertical explosiveness possessed by the wing players.
