Guaros dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Brillantes' 16. The best player for the winners was American point guard Marvelle Harris (196-1993, college: Fresno St., agency: Slash Sports) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. The former international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-1986) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Four Guaros players scored in double figures. American guard James Reese V (193-1998, college: S.Carolina) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and international power forward Fernando Fuenmayor (201-2000) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
