Sesi Franca signs Heissler Guillent, ex Guaros

Sesi Franca Basquete Sao Paulo (Paulista) signed experienced 36-year old Venezuelan international point guard Heissler Guillent (186cm-75kg-1986). He played this summer at Guaros in Venezuelan SPB league. In 40 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.1apg (top 2) and 1.8spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. 2023-23 was a great season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Player of the Year, Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Comeback Player of the Year and Guard of the Year.
Guillent has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. He has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2010 and previously for U18 National Team in 2000.
Guillent represented Venezuela at the World Cup in China four years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 13.6ppg, 2.0rpg, 6.2apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 42.4%, 3PT: 44.8%, FT: 33.3%.
He is quite experienced player. Guillent has played also professionally in Colombia (Arrieros, Academia and Titanes), Mexico (Astros), Venezuela (Guaros de Lara 2nd team, Guaiqueries, Caciques and Estrellas Occidentales) and Dominican Republic (Leones). He won Venezuelan LPB championship title in 2017 and 2018.
Guillent is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Sesi Franca.
