Venezuelans Abroad - Aguehil Fajardo leads Lavovi Brcko to second straight victory in Bosnia

Venezuelan PF Aguehil Fajardo (183-PF-1999) led ZKK Lavovi Brcko to their second straight victory in Bosnia's 2023-2024 Premijer Liga regular season, by completing a double double of 17 points and 14 rebounds in 39 minutes on court, defeating Celik BH Telecom, 80-60, as hosts.

Fajardo went 5-for-10 from mid range, 2-for-3 from beyond the arc and scored her only attempted free-throw of the day, adding also a couple of assists and a couple of steals. Iva Karisik (175-PG-2001) added 24 points and Mirela Halilovic (183-C-1998) another 18 for the winning side. Ajla Selimovic (183-C-2003) finished with 21 for Celik.

Fajardo's first match had been a dominant show as visitors against Jumper, with 13 points and 20 rebounds in 40 minutes of action. It's her third straight season playing in Europe, as she's also played for Asnimo Agora Portals Marrtxi (Spain's LF2) and Esgueira Aveiro (Portugal's Liga Feminina). Her international experience also includes stints in Chile and Uruguay.

Her next game will be against Banovici (1-1) as visitors (October 21st).
