Roselis Silva

Barca CBS (LF Endesa) added to their roster 32-year old Venezuelan international point guard Roselis Silva (166cm-1991, college: Arkansas Tech). Silva played this summer at Halcones in Mexican LNBPF. In 30 games just recently she recorded 10.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 6.0apg (leader !!!) and 2.6spg (leader !!!). She helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Defensive Player of the Year and selected to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Second Team.
Silva has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. She has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2008 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008.
Silva represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Nantes (France) seven years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 12.0ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.6apg, Steals-5(2.2spg), FGP: 47.1%, 3PT: 28.6%, FT: 76.9%.
Thanks to Silva's pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Paraguay (Sol de America Asuncion), Spain (Zamarat, Bembibre, Gernika, Logrono and Araski) and Venezuela (Anzoategui).
Her team won Paraguayan Metropolitan League Apertura Regular Season in 2017.
Silva graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2014 and it will be her tenth season as a professional player.
