SPB 2024 - Broncos sign Antonio Pena

Broncos BBC de Caracas (SPB) signed experienced 37-year old American (has also Dominican passport) forward Antonio Pena (204cm-1986, college: Villanova) for upcoming 2024 season. Pena joins another USA player Erik McCree who is already in the roster.
He just played at Gladiadores. In only one SPB game in Venezuela he recorded 3 points and 2 rebounds last season.
He represented Dominican Republic at the FIBA World Cup in Philippines-Japan-Indonesia last year. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 5 games: 3.2ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.4apg.
He is quite experienced player. Pena has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ferro), Colombia (Titanes), Germany, Mexico (Lenadores, Dorados, Santos, Soles), Puerto Rico (Brujos), Spain (Penareda San Pablo Burgos), Venezuela (Marinos and Brillantes) and Dominican Republic (Enriquillo, Pueblo Nuevo, Reales and Don Bosco). He won Dominican Republic LNB championship title in 2018 and 2023. Pena was voted to Dominican Republic LNB All-Star Game in 2022 and 2023.
He graduated from Villanova University in 2011 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
