Cesar Silva

Frontinos Del Tachira (SPB) inked experienced 42-year old former Venezuelan-Colombian international 190cm swingman Cesar Silva for upcoming season. Silva played last summer at Cafeteros in Colombian Liga Wplay. In 21 games he averaged 5.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.2apg and 1.9spg. He helped them to make it to the Colombian LPB Clausura final after they ended regular season as second best team. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Clausura Best Sixth Man of the Year. Silva also played for Brillantes in Venezuelan SPB where in 30 games he had 5.4ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg. He was a member of Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2010 and 2013.
Silva is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Chile (Puente Alto and Osorno), Venezuela (Guaiqueries, Trotamundos, Gaiteros, Espartanos and Yaracuyanos), Colombia (Barrancabermeja Ciudad Futuro and Guerreros) and Ecuador (Iccan and Piratas). His team won Ecuadorian National League Regular Season in 2017 and 2018.
Among many awards he received Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LNB 2015 Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LNB 2015 Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2015.
