SLBF 2024 - Pastoras tab Yolimar Martinez

Pastoras de Lara (SLBF) inked 29-year old international 184cm center Yolimar Martinez. Martinez played recently at Capitalinas in Venezuelan SLBF. She missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Martinez has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. She has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2013 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2011.
Martinez represented Venezuela at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) two years ago. Martinez's team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 4 games: 1.3ppg, 1.3rpg.
She has played previously for five other teams: Falcon, Bucaneras, Atleticas, Patriotas and Zulianas.
Among many awards her team made it to the Superliga Semifinals in 2022. Martinez was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan Superliga Center of the Year in 2022.
