Trotamundos de Carabobo (SPB) inked 19-year old Venezuelan 180cm point guard Edson Tovar. Tovar moved there from CBA Gran Canaria 2nd team in Spanish LEB Silver. In 25 games he averaged 8.6ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg last season.
Part of last summer he spent at Cafeteros in Colombian Liga Wplay where in 7 games he had 5.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.1apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Tovar also spent pre-season at Toros that year.
